    It takes about 3-4 weeks to fully onboard your organization. While it can sometimes be completed faster, there may be instances when it takes a bit longer. Throughout this period, we collect your documents and policies and incorporate them into our system. Once your company is fully onboarded and our agreement is finalized, we start managing your employees right away, concurrently with the recruitment process.

You’re always welcome to reach out to us as your HR partners whenever you need assistance. We recommend contacting us for most, if not all, HR-related concerns or requests, as it’s better to explore every option than to risk making a mistake by not involving us. If your issue is non-HR related or falls outside our scope, our team will guide you on the best approach to find the answers you need.
  • With HR do we have to enforce every single policy?
    We always remind our clients that the policies they've established are designed to protect both themselves and their employees, making it essential to enforce them consistently. Adhering to and enforcing these policies is the primary way to maintain compliance. If a workplace claim arises and it's determined that you haven't upheld your own policies, it can have serious repercussions. That said, occasional flexibility—such as granting an employee an extra day off or an unwritten bonus—can help strengthen employer-employee relationships.   • How does payroll work if we keep our existing payroll platform?
    Many of our clients prefer to stick with their existing payroll platform, whether due to familiarity or the desire to avoid switching to a new system midway through. That’s perfectly understandable! In these cases, we will manage your employees, their files, and all HR functions using our platform, while processing payroll through your chosen system.
  • Will there be a disruption if we leave our payroll company and switch to yours?
    We recognize the significance of a seamless transition, particularly regarding payroll. With Anew Hire, you don't have to wait until the end of the year to make the change, and there will be no disruptions in payments during the transition. While we configure your payroll on our platform, you can continue using your current payroll system to ensure consistency. Our payroll services will seamlessly take over from where your existing system ends.
  • Do you charge more to hire during peak season?
    No, we don’t! As your HR partners, we manage your hiring throughout the year, all included in our pricing. The only potential additional costs would arise if your team size exceeds the included 40 employees during peak season or if you choose to add extra services. See Optional Add-Ons here.
  • I heard your competitor say, "You get what you pay for." Can you explain the value of your service at this price point?
    While the adage "you get what you pay for" often holds true, reflecting the intrinsic value of excellent service, we subscribe to a different philosophy. We believe in delivering exceptional, white-glove service at affordable prices, which we consider essential for success in both your business and for your clients. We truly grasp the profit margin challenges in this space and we take actionable steps to address them. It is unrealistic for companies to pay over $1,200 a month just to recruit a few drivers without any additional value-added services. We know because we desperately wanted to and we couldn't!   • What if we have more than 40 employees?
    At Anew Hire, we welcome teams of all sizes! Our packages are designed to accommodate teams of up to 40 employees, with the option to add additional employees for a nominal fee. See Optional Add-Ons here for pricing.
  • I have multiple routes across Amazon & FedEx. Do I need a package for each one?
    Since Amazon and FedEx are distinct entities with their own hiring guidelines and rules, we require separate plans for each. This means you will need to establish an individual plan for Amazon and another for FedEx. However, if you have multiple routes within a single entity (e.g., three CSAs at FedEx), you won’t need separate plans for those routes. You will need to set up separate locations in our system for each entity, and it’s important to recognize that each market has unique characteristics. As such, offerings will be tailored accordingly. Each package supports up to 40 employees, regardless of location. If your total employee count exceeds the included 40, you can easily add additional employees as needed. See Optional Add-Ons here.
  • Do you charge extra to hire employees other than drivers?
    Nope! We hire for any position you need, and this service is fully included in our pricing. The only additional costs may arise if your team size exceeds the included 40 employees or if you opt for extra services. See Optional Add-Ons here.
  • Why are your prices so low, what's the catch?
    There’s no catch here. We firmly believe that prices shouldn’t be inflated just because they can be. As small business owners working with both FedEx and Amazon, we know firsthand how tight profit margins can be, along with the daily stresses that come with the job. When we looked to outsource our HR to lighten our workload, we found the existing options to be unaffordable and lacking. This led us to create a much-needed service that contractors can afford without sacrificing quality. We provide personalized, white-glove services for both employers and employees - with actual humans - while leveraging automated processes and cutting-edge technology to save you time, minimize errors, and keep our prices competitive.
  • Do you complete the Qual Cert process for us?
    We will coordinate, advise on, and upload the relevant Qual Cert training materials to streamline the hiring process. However, the actual training must be conducted by a certified trainer you designate. If you prefer, our team can handle the online portion of the Qual Cert training for a small additional fee. Please note that the behind-the-wheel training, including road tests, road hours and all other non-online components, must still be completed by your on-site team. See Optional Add-Ons here.
  • How long does the hiring process take?
    This phase typically lasts between 3 to 4 weeks, depending on the competitiveness of your market. While some markets are more challenging, we’ve optimized our strategy to identify strong candidates swiftly. Often, we can reduce this timeframe to approximately 2 weeks, although 3 to 4 weeks is the standard.
  • Do you handle our peak season hiring?
    Absolutely! As your dedicated HR partner, we manage hiring year-round, ensuring that we meet your staffing needs even during peak season.
  • What if our employees keep quitting?
    We recognize that turnover is a significant challenge in our industry. That’s why we are committed to ensuring that your employees feel valued and satisfied, which is crucial for improving retention. Employers who utilize our services typically experience an average 30% increase in employee retention within the first six months. Additionally, we provide guidance to maintain staffing levels that are slightly over capacity to prevent being understaffed. In the event of employee separations, we promptly begin the process of finding qualified replacements.
  • How often do you recruit drivers?
    We recruit unlimited drivers as often as your company needs it. We believe that every company should always be recruiting to avoid being caught short-handed. To ensure smooth operations, we recommend maintaining a slightly overstaffed team with prospective drivers in the pipeline, which helps shorten the typical three-week hiring turnaround. We rely on our business partners to keep us informed about their staffing levels. If you need a new hire, please submit a new hire request form so we can initiate the hiring process. If we do not receive a request form, we will assume your staffing levels are sufficient. Additionally, if we are notified of an employee termination, our team will automatically be alerted to identify a replacement from our pipeline; however, this process is not guaranteed.   • How far in advance do you hire for peak season?
    Several factors influence how far in advance we initiate the hiring process for peak season. Key considerations include the number of drivers needed, the specifics of your market, and the current turnaround time in your area. In a typical market with a healthy hiring environment, we generally begin the hiring process in early October. This timeframe allows for sufficient training, driver acclimatization, and ensuring a good fit before the holiday season. However, in more challenging markets with limited driver availability and higher competition, we will start the process earlier to secure the necessary talent.
  • Do you only hire drivers?
    We specialize in hiring for any role you require, be it a driver, manager, BC, operations manager, back office support, lead driver, or mechanic, at the same competitive rate. Whenever you have a staffing need, we take care of the entire process as your dedicated HR partner.
  • Do you only hire P&D drivers or can you hire long-haul as well?
    We hire both P&D and long-haul, as well as any other employees that you may need.
  • What happens if you can’t find any qualified employees?
    Not finding qualified employees is a rarity for us, thanks to our innovative methods that effectively target even the most elusive candidates, but it can happen. While some job markets may have a smaller talent pool, we understand that there are often valid reasons for this. If we face such a situation, it may indicate that the offered rate is lower than what competitors provide, or other issues. In those cases, we’ll reassess and develop a new strategy to achieve better outcomes.
  • Do you handle the First Advantage process?
    Absolutely! We recognize the complexities of First Advantage and hiring compliance. Thanks to our extensive experience, we’ve streamlined this process, enabling us to guide candidates through it efficiently and effectively. We manage coordinating each of the FADV requirements (application, drug screening, background check, MVR, exams, etc.) and uploading the files for approval. Occasionally a file may need correcting (better picture, correct the dates, etc.) in these cases we will reach out to the candidate or you for correction. To ensure a smooth experience, we ask clients to provide us with access to their FADV by granting login permissions, along with other key details, such as preferred local sites for drug screenings and medical exams.
